Man, the side-by-side seating in the A-1E makes for a remarkably ugly Skyraider.  But then, none of the Skyraiders were billed based on their good looks, were they?

AH YES, THE HIGHLY ESTTEMED SKYRAIDER!!  It was finally retired by a greatful Military on my  birthday in the IMMORTAL 80S.

It was actually because of the success of the Skyraider as a CAS aircraft during Vietnam that the A-X program was created, which brought us the Warthog.
