A look back to Planes of 2010, P-38 lightning pulls a nice close pass.
I still feel that the design looks weird even today. Imagine what US pilots must have thought when they first saw it!
This is one of my favorite WW2 planes I've ever seen. I really like their designs. And that angle is really cool. Great angle shot there. ^^
I'd love to fly one of those one day, where did you take this awesome photo?
Chino, CA. Planes of Fame air show heild in May.
one of, if not the coolest aircraft ever!
beautiful shot and plane!
You've got so many great shots of these P-38s, I love them all. Really great work capturing my favorite prop fighter
My favorite WWII plane!
Perfect for launching tsunamis at the Yamato.
Yes, super Pov !
I love that angle!
What a great looking plane. I have a question- you see the circle on the inside of the left hand engine nacelle. I think there is one on both insides - is it a morror so the pilot can see below him or an inspection port for the engine? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks.
I believe I read once that the mirrors on the nacelles were to check that the nose gear had retracted properly.
That's a Tillamook bird
