Jap Killer ;) This is a big plane, but it's very manoeuverable :)

Sweet ride. Have to ask, are you up in a chase plane or a tower for these shots? Trying to figure out how to get those nice background clutter free views.

What you do is take what ever steps necessary to be at the event as early as possible around 5:30AM or so, IE get a nearby hotel if the show is not close by. Be prepared to wait, have all your stuff ready for security inspection and make like crazy for the flight line, it's usually worth it all though ever once and awhile you still get burned. A then there all those wonderful parents who show up at around 2:00 in afternoon and send their children "up Front" for a better view where they have been know to over your expensive gear! lol! =D

Great shot, great plane. It seems the plane is so big it creates its own shadows, but that only adds to the pic!

One of the greatest planes in WW II. My dad flew it, among others but he couldn't go overseas because of a "blown" eardrum. But hey, that may be why I'm here as it may have saved his life. (With the greatest respect to those who sacrificed their lives in any war.) Nice photos of this plane and I enjoy your other plane photos as well.
