Vision - A sight indeed, an aircraft such as the A-10 in a typical maneuver fitting it's capabilities, displaying it's prowess and agility. It certainly captures the moment of this.

Originality - Do we see many images of the A-10 turning, diving, swooping, and gunning? Yes. Do we see many with this much depth and feel in the image? No. While it may not be that "One of a kind, never going to get again shot", it is hard to find one that brings out the character and life of the aircraft such as this.

Technique - Superb. One second later, and the shadows may have been too long and overlapped. One second sooner, and the shadows wouldn't have been strong enough to bring out the detail. Not a speck of noise from what I can see and a great shot at 300mm. It's tough to get a great shot like this when the aircraft is moving so fast, and you executed your skills with a camera perfectly.

Impact - It brought a smile to my face and I went "OOOOO!" when I saw this, and I'm certain many others are doing the same thing. This beloved aircraft wows many of its fans, and you bring to life it's detail. The lighting and shadows show off every little detail, and it isn't bland like many photos of the aircraft you see.

Overall - You certainly captured a moment here, one that perhaps many others may have missed. Was it just chance timing, or perhaps you just "knew" when the moment was? Whatever the case, it was perfect timing to me, and you brought out this aircraft in another light.

The Warthog will remain in service for many years while there is no substitute for him.

I love the lighting in this one. It brings out so much depth and detail. It's kind of like a surreal painting with almost exaggerated lighting to bring out highlights, but no, it's totally real, and totally awesome.

Certainly. I don't really do critiques much because I always have a hard time telling myself that I am "in a position to help someone with their artwork in which I think it is better than my own...", but I guess I talked myself into giving it a shot. XD
